We undertake an investigation into UK genealogical databases and archives to verify family lines. Data is only included in the journal where this is available to research.

We design a bespoke journal for you and your family to cherish.
Our approach marries meticulous genealogical research with visual design, ensuring your family history is preserved in an enduring format.
The Journal can be personalised with your family surnames on the outside cover or left blank. Your Family Tree is A3 size, landscape orientated, beautifully created and designed by hand inside, with an index and sections that focus on each of the family lines you ask us to research.
STEP 1
Discovery Phase
We begin with requesting a limited amount of family information from you, to identify and corroborate your immediate family details to ensure that we can successfully map out your ancestral lines.
STEP 2
Genealogical Research
We conduct a high level investigation using the information you have provided, cross referencing multiple UK genealogy reference sites, to explore how many family lines can be traced. We will only require a deposit once we receive your confirmation to proceed with the research.
STEP 3
Journal Design
We undertake the detailed research of your family lines and assemble your family tree hierarchy, summaries and persons of interest research into a hand-produced editorial narrative. As work is completed by hand, on average each journal will typically take 2-4 weeks to compile.
STEP 4
Archive Completion
Final research and checks are completed, and after a final payment, your 'Family Tree in a Book' is sent to you.
